Self Portraiture and Collaboration are landing platforms for my creative exploration and expression. I simultaneously disappear and shine my brightest in self portraits. This is where I push my creativity, channel my deepest emotions, and take charge of the narrative of how folks see me. If there is something you like here and want to channel in your photo session with me, please let me know!
The first image pictured here is a collab between myself, Cai Quirk, and Animal Planet.
Also featured on this page are 3 collabs with Kyra Allen. Two of them she is pictured in and one was her lighting with a scrim and my photography.
My color portraits provide eye-catching head shots and playful images that uniquely represent YOU!
This is a space where all are invited to “be.” Come as you are, celebrate yourself, and feel comfy!
My goal with these sessions is to lean heavily into my own style while also providing a safe space for my subjects to feel empowered and seen!

Boudoir is something I’ve wanted to photograph for many years & it feels so right to finally be offering it! Sexual empowerment and feeling at home in our bodies is something I’ve very passionate about, and these sessions are truly an invitation for you to see yourself in a sexually empowering way!
Your comfort & empowerment are of the utmost importance to me! I always ask before I adjust anything on you (consent is very important). I thoroughly instruct your positioning, so if you’re not experienced with modeling, don’t worry! I consider it an honor to photograph you.
Below is a review from one of the individuals I photographed:
“Recently I was able to do a boudoir session with Rachel and I’m gonna say it was definitely one of the best experiences of my life. I’ve never been extremely confident in my body and have struggled a lot with body dysmorphia no matter my weight or shape. I always just wasn’t good enough. Doing this session really helped boost my confidence and make me feel secure in myself. During the whole session I felt comfortable and confident and a big part of that was definitely due to Rachel. This is something that is definitely out of my comfort zone, especially posting them, but your body and viewing yourself as a sexual human is nothing to be ashamed of, it’s natural. Stretch marks, skin blemishes, rolls and acne are all natural and something you shouldn’t feel the need to hide. But anyways, if you’re someone like me then you definitely should book a boudoir session or just any photo session with Impassioned Art. They have a way of capturing the body in a different lighting and appreciating it for what it is, Art.”
Here you will find a mixture of shots including hired portraiture, self portraits, editorials, and a session I did with the Op Shop for Earth Day. Pictured here are dancers, musicians, realtors, botanists, thrifters, crafters, interpreters, actors, and more!
I view each photoshoot as a new opportunity to push myself, and I love exploring angles and shadows.
One of my greatest joys is promoting authentic, vulnerable communication through artistic visuals. Through my abstract photography, I talk about emotional intelligence, communication, vulnerability, and spirituality. I aim to create a space where people feel safe to show up authentically, ask real questions, and find restoration.
This type of work allows me to explore my own creativity and the tools at my disposal. I so often refer to it as "playing" to those who I discuss it with. As an artist, creation is both a career and an escape in my spare time. I love pushing myself further through these projects.

“These are some of my favorite images of us ever captured. They are heart wrenching and [from] one of our most challenging and directly interpersonally inspired pieces.” ~ Harold Taddy from The Velvet Noose
There’s something about using my own art to honor the art of another.
